This week I revisited and remixed a Goldfrapp A&E Remix I did on the beach in Menorca in 2008.   I liked the original song, it had minimal acoustic backing and was a bit slow -therefore perfect material for ‘dancing-up’ a bit. 

My original mix was quite a harsh listening experience and Alison’s vocals a little lost.  I reworked the percussion sounds, the stereo separation and the refined the mix a bit.  It’s a shame one of the final samples is a little clipped.  Maybe I will visit it again and clean up that element.  Maybe I won’t.
