Capturing some of the seasonal flood plain images at the end of my road. The iPhone camera isn’t great in terms of it’s quality, pixel count, or anything else for that matter. But one thing that often counts above anything else is the fact it’s always in my pocket.
What makes the camera even more fun to use are the variety of applications that help to enhance and create something a little different and maybe even ‘better’ that the original photograph. I regularly use ‘Pano’ to create panoramas, ‘TrueHDR’ for cheap and cheerful High Dynamic Range Images, ‘Hipstamatic’ for some great grunge effect simulating old cameras and film. I also use ‘Camera Bag’ quite a lot as seen in the examples below. Even though I own both analogue and Digital SLRs which are technically superior in every way, there is something very satisfying about creating a image which looks quite appealing from a mobile phone.
