At some point in the early 90s, I was asked to write a theme for a horse racing game. I don’t think it ever went ahead, but I remember getting very inspired and banging out a track out in an afternoon.

Definitely nothing at all like a Jarre track, more of a giddy-up 6/4 sort of rhythm with a strong brassy theme and some keyboard guitar twiddling mid-way.

It’s a bit wobbly as it came from an audio cassette ‘master’, and I’m very surprised it survived at all. I think I had to post the cassette to the company who were developing the game. Considering how bad I am at gathering stamps, envelopes and address together into the same place all at the same time, I’m wondering if this was the reason nothing happened with it.
